A Columbus Destroyers come an Arena Football League team, founded in Buffalo, New York in 1999. A Buffalo Destroyers moved to Columbus, Ohio after the 2003 Arena Football League season. It play their house games in the downtown Nationwide Arena, which they part by owning a National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets.
